Autodesk® Revit® Architecture – Fundamentals for Architecture is the official course intended for architects. Beside theory insights, attendees will have opportunities to work on a particular project from start to finish.

Introduction to BIM technology
Getting started with the application, its interface and navigation tools
Basic sketching and modifying tools
Work with external files
Setting of the application and projects
Create architectural 3D model including walls, floors, roofs, stairs, railings, ramps, ceilings, doors, windows and curtain walls
Work with components (families), such as furniture elements, lights and equipment
Work with views, how to create and organize model views
Preparation of technical documentation, such as 2D details, dimensions, tags, symbols
Work with schedules for elements and materials
Preparation of sheets for printing and exporting in dwg format

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

Understand the principles of BIM technology and learn how to apply them in the Autodesk Revit software
Navigate the Autodesk Revit workspace and interface
Define the datum elements in the model such as levels and grids
Create architectural 3D model with BIM elements such as walls, floors, windows, doors, stairs, railings, ramps, roofs, etc.
Use modifying tools on existing BIM model elements
Work with external data in Revit such as CAD drawings
Find, download, and use component features, such as furniture and equipment
Extract schedules and material take-off quantities
Add annotations such as dimensions, text, tags, symbols to the views
Create 2D details in the Autodesk Revit software
Set up sheets for plotting as technical documentation
Prepare for the Autodesk Certified User exam and obtain the official Autodesk certification, which is included in the price
