A New Chapter for Technology Leaders in Macedonia
On December 16, 2025, the first CTO Executive Conference was held in Skopje, organized by Semos Education – a strategic event dedicated to technology leaders and IT managers from Macedonia and the region.
The conference brought together technology, strategy, and leadership, opening an essential discussion on what the technological horizon will look like by 2027 and what the new role of the CTO will be in the era of artificial intelligence.
Under the central theme, “The Technological Horizon That Will Shape 2027”, participants had the opportunity to attend inspiring keynotes, panel discussions, and interactive workshops focused on strategic AI adoption in companies, industry transformation through intelligent technologies, cybersecurity and data management, AI agent application development, leadership, and decision-making in times of rapid technological change.
A special focus was placed on the global perspective of digital transformation and future competencies, presented by Wilfried Paroubek, representative of Microsoft Worldwide Learning, further emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and the development of technology teams.
One of the most impressive segments of the event was the “AI Adopt Workshop”, a hands-on session where participants worked on real scenarios for implementing AI in their organizations.
With excellent attendance, a high level of interaction, and active discussions, CTO Executive Conference 2025 clearly demonstrated that AI is a strategic necessity. Companies that approach its adoption with a clear vision and structured plan will be at the forefront of future change.
Through this event, Semos Education laid the foundation for the formation of the CTO Club, a professional community of technology leaders that will enable the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and best practices, fostering a culture of innovation and long-term growth.
